Mt. Bethel Village is a two story building containing 38 one and two-bedroom apartments housing a total of 41 residents. Each apartment will have a private entrance, its own bathroom, kitchen, bedroom and living area.
Mt. Bethel Village’s Residential Program is designed to provide a homelike environment for men and women ages 21 and over with autism, developmental disabilities and traumatic brain injuries.
The Mt. Bethel Day Program is designed to provide a day of productive, fun, self-directed activities for adults with autism, developmental disabilities or traumatic brain injuries, within the Mt. Bethel Village residence.
At Mt. Bethel Village, all necessary behavioral supports are individualized for each resident and day program participant. Mt. Bethel Village will maximize positive behaviors, interactions and provide an environment that supports appropriate behaviors.

Mt. Bethel Village, a residential and day program, provides social and behavioral support services for adults, 21 and over, with autism, developmental disabilities and traumatic brain injuries. Each adult is interviewed and observed in our setting and in their own home/day program setting to determine what our staff needs to do to support his/her behaviors. Once it is determined that an adult is appropriate for Mt. Bethel Village, we offer the following supports:
Behavioral Intervention Strategies that provide an environment to minimize inappropriate social interactions, promote verbal and non-verbal interactions and encourage friendships and communication.
One On One Support
One On One Support to learn Daily Living Skills including keeping an apartment clean, dressing, grooming, hygiene, eating healthy and forming relationships to have fun and have a purpose in life.
Life Long Learning Skills to succeed in volunteer positions in the community, successfully maintain job skills and become part of the surrounding community through leisure and recreational activities.
