Mt. Bethel Village
For adults with Special Needs
Mt. Bethel Village is a specialized autism assisted living and day program community designed to support adults, developmental disabilities, and traumatic brain injuries. Rooted in a compassionate assisted living for autism model, we provide a safe and nurturing environment where individuals can grow, thrive, and enjoy life to the fullest. With 24/7 staff support, comprehensive life skills training, social development programs, and access to health and employment services, our residents and day program participants benefit from a well-rounded approach to autism assisted living and personal independence and well-being.
Comfort. Safety. Enrichment. Family.
Mt. Bethel Village offers autism assisted living through Residential and Day Programs for adults 21 and over with autism, developmental disabilities and traumatic brain injuries. The Residential Program is designed to provide a homelike environment in private or semi-private apartments. The Day Program provides a day of productive, fun, self-directed activities under the supervision of our direct support staff.

Residential Program
Mt. Bethel Village’s autism assisted living facility is designed to provide a homelike environment for men and women ages 21 and over with autism, developmental disabilities and traumatic brain injuries and those seeking assisted living for young adults with autism near me in an integrated and inclusive community with supports.
Residents live in their own one-bedroom apartment or with a compatible partner in a two-bedroom apartment. Each apartment has a private entrance that can be locked, kitchen, separate bedroom and living areas and a private bath, all barrier free.

Day Program
Our vibrant Day Program, part of our assisted living for autism approach, is also located in Warren from our residential community. At the Mt. Bethel Day Program, participants can choose from a wide array of fun, engaging activities including art, music, dance class, yoga, swimming, photography and computer skills. Our staff also practice and strengthen habilitation skills, self-awareness and social skills with the adults we serve.
Our Day Program begins at 9:30 am, Monday through Friday. All activities are closely supervised by our highly trained staff. The Mt. Bethel Day Program provides the support of a nurse and an on-site Health and Wellness Coordinator.

Community Involvement and Inclusion
A unique aspect of our autism assisted living community is frequent interaction between our residents and day program participants and the outside community. The Township of Warren and local towns throughout Somerset County have been very welcoming and engaging for our adults.
We explore local parks, attend special events and concerts, and participate in the annual holiday festivities for Christmas, Hanukkah, Independence Day and September 11. Many of our adults work in the area as well. We volunteer at nearby schools and businesses. All of these activities take place under the close supervision and guidance of our attentive Direct Support Staff.
